A Beutiful Hadeeth

Assalamu Alaikum,
A Beautiful Hadith

Rasul ALLAH (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: 'When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome person by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud and the chest of the deceased. When after the burial, the people return home, two angels, Munkar and Nakeer (names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith. But the handsome man says, 'He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any case. If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted into Paradise.

Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, 'I am the Qur'an, which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Nakeer, you will have no grief.

When the interrogation is over, the handsome man arranges for him from Al-Mala'ul A'laa (the angels in Heaven) silk bedding filled with musk. Rasul ALLAH (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: 'On the Day of Judgment, before ALLAH, no other Intercessor will have a greater status than the Qur'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel. Please keep forwarding this 'Hadith' to all ... because Rasul ALLAH (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: 'Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse'. May Allah bestow this favor on all of us, Aamen.

Sajid

Budget '09 - My Views

Hello All,

As an Indian, I was also anxiously looking into the presentation of the first Budget of UPA-II by finance minister Mr.Pranab Mukherjee. And as he was done good job as External Affairs minister in UPA-I and presented an interim budget in last Feb 09 before the general election, everybody were so excited to see his new role as a full time FM and his first complete budget. I think this is Pranab Babu's second budget in his ministerial life of politics.

Is the budget really came out as expected?

For the investors this may be a disappointed budget as it didn't come out as expected. Of course the Indian investor team were expecting a huge reform on different sections including banking, insurance etc. Also they were expecting an increase in the FDI proportions. But no big offerings and declaration regarding FDI and reform. By this the index of SENSEX hit and fell a whopping around 900 pts in the absence of expected declaration in Budget. Final result was the SENSEX and NIFTY closes the day with heavy loss.

The Indian Industry Inc welcomes the budget because of the budget focuses on agriculture and infrastructure developments. Of course it is allocated a huge amount of 3.25 Lakh crores for agriculture and infrastructure development including roads and bridges. Also it focuses and allocates huge amount to National Food Guarantee scheme. It offers rights for all to have food by providing rice or wheat for Rs 3/kg. Additionally budget allocated more funds to the UPA's famous project NREGA to ensure employment in rural areas. Hence the minimum wages under NREGA is increased to Rs.100/day.

Some of the other important announcement was Income Tax exemption limit is extended by Rs.10000. This makes the man should pay tax if he is having a minimum annual salary of 1.6 lakh and for women it is 1.9 Lakh. Of course this gives happiness for these class of employees.

The prices of Gold, Settop boxes for DTH will increase as the customs duty increased. But the prices of items like Mobile phones, LCD TV etc will reduce as duty give a reduction.

In a nut shell i think this budget focuses Growth of India as it focuses more on Agriculture and Infrastructures.

Yes, of course it is a budget for the ordinary man of India.

Sajid.

EDUC-AID : A program for helping poor students

Dear All,

Assalamu Alaikkum,

This is a program for helping the poor students residing in the area of Marad, Kappakkal, Anamadu and Payyanakkal area of Calicut district in Kerala. The main aim of this program is to help them to achieve their goal in education.

Why this is different?

Just think about this scenario like if a member (son or daughter) of a family studied well and got a job out of that, then that whole family is safe and for them no need to ask help form others. So we feel it will be better than helping a family always in their life. So what we feel is find out talented students in these area and the try to sponsor them in continuing their education if they are struggling for education.

As of now as per the calculation, for a student it will cost Rs 400/- for a year. So anyone can sponsor one or more student for a year and of course it will benefit them in terms of getting needed items at right time.

Also, beyond the financial support we are planning to give career guidance with the help of authorized career teams in Kerala and give the proper guidance to the needed hands. Also will conduct special coaching and trainings for those needed.

Please respond with your comments on below if you are interested.

Regards,
Sajid.
